We have had BB cream, CC cream and now I introduce the first ever EE cream to you. Estée Lauder have launced their Enlighten Even Effect Skintone Corrector Cream SPF 30 ("EE cream"). As the name suggests, its aim is to provide a "more flawless, luminous, even toned skin—instantly". It is a lightweight sheer formula which is actually what attracted me to it but it is also buildable which is necessary when you are trying to cover up blemishes or dark spots.
It contains SPF 30 which is great, so you do not have to worry about your skin not being protected and anti-oxidants which help to soften, smooth and hydrate your skin. The range comes in three shades; light, medium and deep. It can be worn alone or under your foundation.
So what did I think of it?
As mentioned previously, I like the fact that the formula is lightweight. I have extremely oily skin and really dislike heavy creams or formulas which make my skin feel clogged up. I do have a few dark spots from previous breakouts so I definitely need a product that would cover them. The EE cream is buidable so I was able to cover the dark spots. I use it under my powder as I do find that it is a little shiny once it has been applied. I must say that it does leave my skin with a healthy glow and the coverage actually lasts all day.
It is quite sad that it only comes in three shades as 03 Deep is slightly on the dark side for me. I would definitely need a lighter shade in order to achieve the perfect match. However, it is manageable but I guess I would use this shade more in the summer when my skin tends to get darker.
It retails at £34 for 30ml.
Have you tried this EE cream? What are your favourite products from the Estée Lauder range?
