There are a few collections that make me swoon about the packaging and the product itself and this is one of them.Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with Shu Uemura to create the 2014 holiday collection; "Shupette". Shupette is Karl's "snow white long haired pussycast princess" and she features on the packaging. It is all very cute and I actually heard that she has her own apartment in Paris and is waited on hand and foot. Yes you read that correctly...her own apartment. Anyway, back to the collection. The collection ranges from a gorgeous eye and lip palette to lip trios including eyeliners and cheek tints. It is exclusive to Selfridges in London and is worth checking out next time you pop in.
Shupette's Flair Eyelasher Curler - £20
Shupette's Rouge Bonbon Fantasy Trio 01 - £29
As you can see from the swatches below, the colour is rich and it has a beautiful creamy texture without being sticky at all. It also has a nice shine to it.
Shupette's Eye Need Shu Trio 02 - £29
Once again, the pigmentation is rich and feels soft and velvety to touch and applies on effortlessly. The eyeshadows have a slight shimmer which I love, making it perfect for the upcoming party season. I will be creating makeup looks in upcoming posts so watch this space.
I have used products from Shu Uemura before and I have been impressed with them. The prices are slightly steep, but you are paying for quality. As mentioned, the collection is exclsuive to Selfridges in London.
What do you think of the collection?
