The Body Shop are launching their new Red Musk* fragrance and this is by far my favourite from the musk range. If you like a warm, spicy, sexy scent, then this may be right up your street. The fragrance was created by perfumer Corinne Cachen. What excites me about this fragrance is that it is quite frankly very different to anything The Body Shop have created previously and wait for it... it does not contain any flowers! Yes I said it. I sometimes find that floral scents are a little too overpowering for my liking. The perfume is a blend of spiced musk, pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. Who knew all these bits thrown in together could create a bottle of fine smelling perfume?!
I also love the red packaging and the gradient effect on the slick bottle which basically indicates the various blends. The top being pepper, then cinnamon and finally tobacco all infused with cruelty-free musk. This scent is definitely not girly and it could quite easily pass as a unisex fragrance. I could happily sniff the neck of any man who has this on (ok that sounds weird!).
With Christmas coming up, this could be the perfect gift for the person who needs some spice added to their life. It also won't break your bank balance. and it actually smells more expensive than it is. Priced at £20.00 for 60ml and £30.00 for 100ml you can't really go wrong can you. I also found that the fragrance lasts all day which is good. The comments also keep rolling in. It is definitely worth a spritz next time you're in the shop.
Red Musk will be available online and in-store from 4th November.
