Ashley Isham's SS14 collection was inspired by the French Drama "Belle de Jour". I remember watching this years ago. I'm a huge fan of Catherine Deneuve so was definitely interested to see what was on offer. The collection was described as being aimed at the "sophisticated professional woman". The colours were gorgeous and included purple iris, blue delphinium and coral amaryllis. The use of silk, lace and embroidery really caught my eye.
Makeup was led my the lovely Lan Nguyen-Grealis (see pic 3 below). The models had bold bright coral pinky lips (205 Passionate Pink as the base and 105 Coral Cutie on the top). The eye makeup was a simple smokey eye that wasn't too heavy. I absolutely love the Radiant Highlighter that was used to enhance the models' features. The blush was also subtle (01 Macaroon and 04 Marshmallow). Overall, the look was glamorous without looking like too much of an effort was made.
Hope you enjoy the pictures!
What do you think of the pieces? There were so many gorgeous pieces but this post would have gone on for far too long.
