The collection consists of six palettes with twelve shades in total. Each duo contains two colours "one sexy, one sophisticated" which compliment each other. The palettes are really cute and come with a mirror which makes it handy if you need to throw it in your makeup bag and touch up on the go. Below are pictures and swatches of four of the eyeshadow duos; Naughty School Girl, Posh Tottie, The Wag and Social Butterfly.
Naughty School Girl
A coffee brown and pearly nude compact.
Posh Tottie
A rose pink and lavender compact.
Wag
A royal blue and deep azure compact.
Social Butterfly
Periwinkle and deep violet compact.
Although I do like these powder eyeshadows, I don't think they are the most pigmented I have ever used. You definitely need to build it up to get sufficient colour. As you can see from the pictures above, they are almost quite sheer. I tried these out after applying primer and they do apply well, just be careful of fallout (it can get messy!). I wore them for the day and by the end of the evening, they did crease. Now this may not be as a result of the eyeshadow itself, rather the fact that my eyelids do tend to get oily.
The eyeshadows retail at £9.50 and you can pick them up online. Click here. I saw on the site that there is currently a 25% off offer going on. It's definitely worthwhile if you like them
SO...drum roll please...are you one of these ladies who lunch? Which is your favourite?
Thanks for reading!!!
I tried out posh tottie and naughty school girl which I really liked! Once used with a primer the colours show really well :)

I really love the colours, but I'm not really impressed with the intensity of the shades. It's such a shame, I would love to be have a palette called Ladies Who Lunch!
ReplyDeleteLadies who lunch - what a neat name. Liking all the colors, but especially "social butterfly."
ReplyDeleteShame they're lacking in pigment, they look lovely otherwise! Clearly they were very heavily inspired by NARS packaging ;-)
ReplyDeleteThey look pretty! Shame about the pigmentation and the blue duo look pretty much the same colour! x
ReplyDeleteLove the name, but I have never hear of this brand which I find surprising as I'm a beauty blog junkie!
