Benefit Cosmetics describe these cream shadows as containing a "lovely crease-proof, smudge-proof formula".
Busy Signal
As seen from the picture above, Busy Signal is described as"venetian brown". I would describe it as a warm brown with a hint of copper and gold undertones. It has a beautiful shimmer to it once it catches the light which I love. I found that it really complemented my skin tone.
Birthday Suit
This shadow is described as "brushed chrome". It is a neutral shadow with a hint of gold shimmer.
Once again, it looks great when it catches the light. I personally wouldn't wear it on it's own. I prefer blending it with other colours.
I was impressed with these shadows. I found that they did last pretty much all day (over 6 hours) without creasing or smudging. Obviously if you rub your eyes, there is always a risk of any eyeshadow smudging. I thought I would have a problem with it as I do tend to have oily eyelids now and again. However, it was fine. I used primer prior to applying the shadows.
These eyeshadows retail at £14 for 4.5g. The good news is that they are currently reduced (they have been for a while) and are now £7! Can hear a whoop whoop?! No seriously, it's a good deal. They come in 12 shades. You can pick this up at your local Benefit counter or online. Click here.
Have you tried any of these shadows from Benefit Cosmetics?

X
I'm a big fan of Creaseless Cream eyeshadows because I like the way they look and (unlike some powder shadows) they don't irritate my eyes. Being pale-skinned I tend to wear R.S.V.P. most frequently, though I also have Birthday suit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shades, really stunning. Ahhh wishlist xo
ReplyDeleteI have these too, I think they are lovely and both look great on you. Whilst I am a fan - they do crease on my oily lids, despite their name! I have to use primer with these - then they are fine and wear quite well! x
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous shades! They really suit you!
