I really like this dry oil. The texture is really smooth and non greasy which makes it a joy to apply. You do need to let it dry though before putting your clothes on although it is not as greasy as one would expect it to be. It also has a lovely scent (really hard to describe) to it which isn't overpowering at all.

Can you see the gorgeous shimmer? |

You can definitely see a difference! |
I must admit, when I first saw this product I thought there was a risk of me looking too bronzed and golden. But honestly speaking, there is only a hint of bronze shimmer. Some people may think that it isn't enough, but I think it's just the right amount you need. You definitely don't want to look like a glitter monster! The dry oil looks beautiful when your skin catches the light. I think this product would also be really great to enhance your tan once you've been back from your holiday! You don't need to use that much, a few drops does go a long way. I will definitely be using this product on my legs during summer.
The oil retails at £16 for 100ml which I think is reasonable based on the fact that it will last a while as you do not need to use that much. You can pick this up in store or online via The Body Shop. Click here.
Have you tried this dry oil?
Thanks for reading!!
Hmmm this is quite interesting :) I have always avoided products like this as I had dark skin, but this I can imagine would give my skin tone a nice glow/shimmer :)
ReplyDelete@Serenity of Beauty ~ You should try it out in store, it's sheer so would give you skin a lovely glow! :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks really nice and reminds me of the pricey Nuxe dry oil. I do wonder what the ingredients of this one is though...I know Body Shop are a fan of mineral oil, whereas I hate it!
ReplyDeleteGreat post x
@Grace ~ Yes there are a lot of dry oils around at the moment. There's no mineral oil in this product which is great! ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the effect on your skin. NARS have a similar product but I find it quite oily. Will have to give this a try as it is reasonably priced.

@Mercy ~ Yes the NARS is quite oily. This is definitely worth a try as it won't break you bank balance. x
ReplyDeleteOhh wow I might give this a go! Forever on the hunt for products to make my skin look wonderfully bronzed! And if it smells good too then that's a bonus :)
ReplyDelete@Tasha Hinde ~ You should get it! :)
