I was initally weary of the product as I'm not really a fan of such strong fruity scents. However, once it is used in the shower, it isn't as strong. The bar below is FUN Red and is described as;
"Mandarin and orange essential oils will make you think of sunny orange groves and freshly squeezed juice..."
I actually think it smells like bubble gum and orange. I broke off a small chunk for my shower and it really did lather up (although you do need to apply pressure). My skin felt soft afterwards which was really great. Each FUN bar comes wrapped in a biodegradable cellophane wrapper, so after you've finished using your FUN, it needs to be stored back in its cellophane. You have about 15 months from the date of production to use your FUN bar (not bad!).

As mentioned earlier, you can also use this product to hand wash clothes. I haven't tried that yet but think I will just stick to using it in the shower. There are six different colours (red, green, pink yellow and blue) all with different scents. The product retails at £5 for 200g. It is free from preservatives and is also suitable for vegans.
I do like the product and think it's extremely innovative and definitely worth trying. However, I do think the scent is somewhat overpowering when it's not being used. But if you're a kid at heart, then head over to the Lush website.
Lush have committed that 10p from each FUN sale in the first year, will go towards helping children affected by the Fukushima disaster.
Have you tried FUN yet?
Thanks for reading!

ReplyDelete@CSI ~ You should! Let me know how you find it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by this, it looks slightly weird but I do love to try new things! Not sure I'd use it for hand-washing clothes either though as I kind of avoid doing that where possible, haha.

Love using lush in the shower! I haven't been to Lush in a while. I didn't know they had this play dough like product! I'm kindof curious to the other colours as well!
